Camarillo Brillo is a reference to the effect of intense use of psychofarmaca   
   to one's hair (it gets dry and hard to manage, as if it is that metal sponge   
   used for cleaning pots and pans) and indeed Camarillo is a reference to one of   
   the largest mental    
   hospitals in California.    
   Mendocino beano is a reference to the dilated pupils you would typically see   
   in the faces of people who attended the various art & music events in that
