I was really only wanting to share a few tracks so       folks would be moved to go track down the rest.              > The Colin Townes FZ album is pretty good too.              I've had that in my amazon wish list for years - guess I should move on it       sooner rather than later!              Yes - Ensemble Modern is excellent, though I still find David Moss's voice       distracting - I'm too well aware of his avant-garde projects and keep       expecting him to go off on some raspberry-yodeling tangent like Yamatsuka Eye.              Speaking of covers - I think the biggest Zappa-cover surprise I ever had was       when I walked into my part time record store gig and heard the lounge/tango       version of "Chunga's Revenge" from the Gotan Project. Generally not a fan of       that type of music - but        I had to pick up the album after that. A similar reaction to when I heard Mark       Lanegan's cover of "Clear Spot;" say, I think I need that!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
