   Do you think that all those old gearheads that raced their 409s on the   
   dragstrips in Southern California back in the early 1960’s that the Beach   
   Boys used to sing about (and Mike Love still duz) still give a damn that they   
   “ turned in the fastest    
   time” or beat the other guy to the finish line by a 1/2 second????  Duz it   
   matter anymore in the great scheme of things?  Did it ever? Or was it just   
   another way to get laid???
