Although fascism is often placed on the       far-right within the traditional left–right spectrum, several academics       have said that the description is inadequate.[4][5]"              From Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia.              It should be noted that studies have shown Wikipedia curators tend to       have a very strongly-expressed socialist bias. I'll need to dig them up       sometime, but a pretty good example of this is the Propaganda article       which attempts to portray propaganda as a neutral or even good thing.              Even the Pirate Party, generally agreed to have a strong socialist bias,       has a greater representation of libertarians and anarcho-capitalists and       more neutral anarchists, rather than an overrepresentation of       socialists, communists and other Marxist-flavoured views.              For the record, I am an Anarchist. I see myself has having a balance       between "left anarchist" and "right anarchist" views. While i see       sustainable society as important, both financially and ecologically,       having centralized state authority is not the way to do it.              Anyway, I've noticed a trend for socialists to deny the fact that       Naziism and Fascism to have very strong roots in socialist dialog and       philosophy, and that Fascism is completely capitalist and conservative       in nature. I've asked several non-Revisionist historians about this, and       they acknowledge that Fascism is just a flavour of socialism.              It is interesting to note that true, original socialism was very       anti-state and inherently anarchist, that a state that protected the       people and the working class was impossible, that the state could only       ever be a tool of oppression and control.              I think it is helpful to point out that fascism is alive and well in       this world, and that Nazis were demonized because they lost the war. In       reality, it's all around us, and just presents itself under a different       name.              Different name, same shit.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
