   The Home Depot was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, and continues to be   
   headquartered there.   
      
   I have noticed some time ago that THD Corporate tends to be   
   mentally stuck in Atlanta, and that they lack a global perspective. They   
   certainly aren't aware of Texan culture and market features unique to   
   areas of Texas. They just implicitly assume everyone's Georgian.   
      
   But that's fine. While I may have a career with Home Depot, the days of   
   being married to a company are long, long gone.
