From: joshuaduncan09@gmail.com              Hi guys, so a quick message from the future: Furries are almost mainstream       now. Disney spent an estimated shit tonne of money on a movie explicitly       featuring 'anthropomorphic animals.' That got us a few more recruits.       Anthrocon now attracts over 6000        people, and Vanity Fair doesn't show up looking for scandalous pics anymore,       because it's considered passe. I submitted an essay for my Masters course at       one of the world's top universities, and it's pretty much about queer furries.       I got top marks. I        also gave a presentation to my class about liminal wereanimals (more queer       furries) and all in attendance loved it. Should point out the homos won. Sorry       straight people, we ousted you from your privileged perch. And congrats US for       achieving gay        marriage on a federal level! Only 10 years after South Africa, but who's       keeping count? Ahem. Anyways, yeah, it's a glorious new age for furries       everywhere, and especially queer ones. Did I mention that? Sorry, just wanted       to rub in how awesome this        fandom is for fostering such a gay-friendly atmosphere. Was it like that in       2003? Are you guys still furries? Weird. Oh, and there are indeed furries who       can make enough money solely drawing furry art to support themselves. Crazy       huh? Like I said, it's a        brave new world, and I thought I'd share this happiness. Hope none of you are       dead. Gosh, that'd be depressing.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
