   Couldn't find the one on jabber.org, and the jabber.ru one is russian,   
   which I don't understand.   
      
   About privacy, XMPP is just as private as IRC if not more if you want   
   it to be. You can connect to tor/I2P nodes, or ever do server to server   
   coms over tor/i2p. All groupchats are anonymous by default (hide jids   
   use nicks).   
      
   Although I'm not terribably interested in being anonymous on XMPP. I'm   
   looking to use it to socialize.
