   This was my first Usenet post and my first contact with furry fandom. It blew   
   my mind to find it and confirm that I had been a furry for almost a year   
   longer than I originally thought. (I always used my FurryMUCK creation date   
   before)   
      
   It's incredible how much has happened in the past 25 years. This post predates   
   Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Livejournal even. The web was still a brand   
   new thing and most people didn't use it yet, making the Internet mostly   
   text-only. People still    
   used slow modems to get online for the most part.   
      
   I don't even know if this response is going to work; I figured I'd just try   
   for shits and giggles. Oh, and by the way, Fifi is still awesome. :)
