From: theadvancedmarketinggroup@gmail.com              ABRAHAMIC TITHING              If you claim to be "tithing as Abraham tithed" then you must also be tithing       under the Law of Moses...              Hebrews 7:5 - "And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the       office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people       ACCORDING TO THE LAW, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the       loins of Abraham:"              And...              Hebrews 7:9 - "And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed       tithes in Abraham."              Note; God in Abraham's tithe also combined and included tithing under the Law       of Moses by the Levites who the Children received the Law...              Hebrews 7:11 - "If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (FOR       UNDER IT THE PEOPLE RECEIVED THE LAW,) what further need was there that       another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called       after the order of Aaron?"              Abram's tithe to Melchisedec was a unique tithe because it is the only event       where God combined tithing NOT under the Law with tithing that WAS under the       Law (i.e. the tithing of the Levites which was under the Law) through Abraham       referring to them both.        God combined Abraham's tithe of the spoils of war along with the tithe of the       Levites under the Law of Moses. With God including the Levite tithe in       Abraham's tithe, tithing under the Law also occurred simultaneously via       Abraham when Abraham tithed to        Melchisedec. Speaking of Melchisedec, Hebrews 7:4 tells us...              Hebrews 7:4 - "Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the       patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils."              Notice again, and closely...              Hebrews 7:9 - "And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, PAYED       TITHES IN ABRAHAM." You cannot separate Abraham's tithe to Melchisedec from       tithing under the Law as clearly combined in Hebrews 7:9.              Therefore this, from the Law of Moses, would apply to your Abrahamic tithing       if your tithe is in the form of money...              Deuteronomy 14:24-27 - "And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art       not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy       God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed       thee: Then shalt thou        turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the       place which the LORD thy God shall choose: And thou shalt bestow that money       for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or       for strong drink, or        for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy       God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household, And the Levite that is       within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor       inheritance with thee."              Which tells us...              1. Do not pay the tithe in the form of money. Keep the money in your hand       (bind it to your hand) until you...       2. Buy wine with it.       3. Buy strong drink (harder liqueur) with it.       4. Buy livestock and other food.       5. Buy whatever you desire, whatever you lust after.       6. Share what you buy with a Levite and your family.       7. Only convert your tithe money back to fruits, vegetables and clean live       stock, etc., at the location you will share it with a Levite if it is too far       to transport it in the form God says it is to paid in.       8. Eat your tithe with the Levite.       9. Learn to fear and respect the Lord by doing one through eight above.              >> Just thought I'd point that out to all you "Abrahamic tithers."              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
