From: jonah357@gmail.com              Aside from the fact that I am very ugly to see when my teeth are showing, I'm       not very worried about COVID Omicron, although there are still remnants of       other variants, lurking in dark corners. I am more concerned that millions of       people have come here        from countries that do not have such deadly diseases as Tuberculosis and       others under control. Other than that, I see no good reason why good and       decent people should not be allowed to come here to America and seek their       good fortune. I think such people        could only help this country to be strong.              But the fact is that millions have come here in a very short time, and nobody       has checked them for, nor treated them for, nor PROTECTED THEM FROM such       diseases. Have you heard anything to the contrary? No, we are letting people       in here willy-nilly. Is        this how we as a nation treat new arrivals? I think this is highly       irresponsible of our ELECTED government, and I am strongly against it. Here is       why....              Some would label me a racist, a xenophobe, a fascist, and everything else bad       for holding this viewpoint.              But dimes will get you dollars that those same ones are critics of their own       ancestors for coming here and bringing diseases that killed off vast portions       of the native population.              At that time, they didn't know such a thing could happen. But in this day       there is no excuse for inviting such a thing when we now have the capability       to at least TRY to prevent it. But nobody on EITHER side of the political       aisle is doing that, nor even        suggesting we do that. They ALL either want to let people in freely or block       them all out.              As for those who would call me a pig, this is a perfect example of how       ignorance of history leads to stupidity, and how widespread stupidity creates       fertile ground for a defective society to flourish. We all are ignorant to       some degree, and therefore we        all are stupid to some degree.              But I'm not stupid enough to not wear an N95 mask in public places and spray       my hands with 91% alcohol when leaving them!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
