     INHERITANCE AND AUTHORITY   
      
   There are two important components or principles of tithing often overlooked   
   and ignored by tithing teachers and tithers; Inheritance and Authority.   
      
   >> Inheritance; the tithe has been given to the Levites...   
      
   Numbers 18:21-24 - "And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the   
   tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even   
   the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. Neither must the children   
   of Israel henceforth come    
   nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die. But the   
   Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they   
   shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your   
   generations, that among    
   the children of Israel they have no Inheritance . But the tithes of the   
   children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I   
   have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among   
   the children of Israel they    
   shall have no inheritance."   
      
   God gave the tithe to the Levites, it was their personal property to take.   
      
   >> Authority; given to the Levites to take the tithes...   
      
   Nehemiah 10:37-38 - "And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough,   
   and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil,   
   unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of   
   our ground unto the    
   Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our   
   tillage. And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the   
   Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes   
   unto the house of our    
   God, to the chambers, into the treasure house."   
      
   Hebrews 7:5 - "And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the   
   office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people   
   according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the   
   loins of Abraham:"   
      
   The authority to take tithes came from God and has never been given to a New   
   Testament minister.   
      
   >> Conclusion;   
      
   If you didn't inherit the tithe you have no authority to take it from the   
   people. No New Testament minister, ministry or other organization has   
   inherited any kind of a tithe. By taking tithes from anyone tithing teachers   
   are taking something that is not    
   there's to take, and they are doing so without Biblical authority. The tithe   
   is NOT THERE'S TO TAKE, they are in fact simply stealing money from their so   
   called "tithers." There is not a single word in and under the New Testament   
   giving anyone the    
   authority to take tithes.
