   Nowhere does Paul, or any other Apostle, state that a pastor is in fact a   
   Levite. Pastors are not Levites in the New Testament. The New Testament   
   teaches that all Christians are priests (YET MAKES NO STATEMENT OF ANY   
   CHRISTIAN BEING A LEVITE), while in    
   the Old Testament, only some Levites had this privilege. 1 Peter 2:9 states;   
   "You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special   
   possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of   
   darkness into his wonderful    
   light,"

   13. Levites were to bare the sins of the people. NO PASTOR is called by God to   
   bare the sins of anyone. Numbers 18:22-23 - "Neither must the children of   
   Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear   
   sin, and die. But the    
   Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they   
   shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your   
   generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance."
