|    The First Fruits Offering...............    |

From: theadvancedmarketinggroup@gmail.com              It's interesting to note that the First Fruits offering, which was FRUIT, not       money, and was consumed by the Levite Priest, not a New Testament church or       New Testament pastor. The Church's First Fruit is Jesus, not money.              1 Corinthians 15:20 - "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the       firstfruits of them that slept."              They have taken a beautiful type of Jesus Christ (Jesus, the First Fruits by       His resurrection), and turned it into a money making scam.              Leviticus 23:10. - "The first of all first fruits of every kind and every       contribution of every kind, from all your contributions, shall be for the       priests: you shall also give to the priest the first of your dough to cause a       blessing to rest on your        house."              And...              Proverbs 3:9-10 - "Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the first       fruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and       thy presses shall burst out with new wine."              The word "honor" does not mean "give it away, give money, or tithe," it       clearly means to give God the credit, the praise, the thanks for what he has       provided you, to brag on God for what He has done for you. It doesn't say a       word about handing cash over        to a deceptive con artist twisting scripture to get money out of you.              HONOR;       Original: כּבד כּבד        Transliteration: kâbad kâbêd        Phonetic: kaw-bad'        Definition: A primitive root; to be heavy, that is, in a bad sense       (burdensome, severe, dull) or in a good sense (numerous, rich, honorable);       causatively to make weighty (in the same two senses): - abounding with, more       grievously afflict, boast, be        chargeable, X be dim, glorify, be (make) glorious (things), glory, (very)       great, be grievous, harden, be (make) heavy, be heavier, lay heavily, (bring       to, come to, do, get, be had in) honour (self), (be) honourable (man), lade, X       more be laid, make self        many, nobles, prevail, promote (to honour), be rich, be (go) sore, stop.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
