   I don't think George casts his friends and hopes for flops.  He probably   
   believes they are right for the part. Don't forget, he initially didn't want   
   Wahlberg for Rockstar.  Wahlberg lobbied for the part while they were   
   filming TPS. Adrian Brody has been friends with George for a while and   
   nobody's complaing about using him in The Jacket. Can he use some new blood?   
   Sure. As for Catherine in O12, she worked for Soderbergh before and has   
   worked with Julia before. So, maybe this wasn't all George. He (like me) may   
   be crazy, but not stupid.
