I doubt the rumors are true, since there hasn't been any mention in a while.
When I was visiting in L.A in April my cousin and I drove through Malibu.
It's really beautiful and is definetely a change from where he lives. I
stayed at Redondo Beach and it was a pleasure to wake up to the sound of the
surf every day. Most of the bigger houses on the beach have a long driveway
and a nice-sized gate to keep you off their property.

   > Malibu isn't gated. It's just a regular beach town like Santa Monica. It
goes along PCH. The California coastline is public. There's a big
controversy about it because stars put "private property" signs on their
beach front properties to try to get beach walkers to go elsewhere but in
reality, the whole coastline is public property. So there's a bunch of
   lawsuits about it right now.

they are the homes near Pepperdine University or down the west end of
   Malibu.

different from Studio City or other areas of LA. I can see him owning both
places. A lot of starts own a place in Malibu plus a place in the

   > But I agree George doesn't seem like he's a big spender and since he only
pays for his houses in cash, it's seems like a lot. Why would he all of the
sudden purchase the Como house and the Malibu house in such a short period
   of time?
   >
   > P.S. And the picture of the supposed house in Malibu is the same pic of a
house being built near Pepperdine, not on the beach. Not sure if that's his
   house or not.
