   Clooney to the rescue

   WHEN a bodyguard on a motorbike was hit by a car, it was the Hollywood star   
   he was guarding who came to his rescue.   
      
   Luckily, that good samaritan was George Clooney, who drew on his time   
   playing ER doctor Doug Ross to make a tourniquet and splint for the biker's   
   injured leg.   
   Clooney's work impressed ambulance officers who attended the crash in   
   Salerno, Italy.   
      
   And doctors said his work was as good as a paramedic's. The bodyguard had 25   
   stitches.   
      
   The crash occurred while Clooney and girlfriend Lisa Snowdon toured Italy   
   during a break filming Ocean's 12.
