I feel sorry for her too. I've sparred with Trollzilla a few times
before, a couple of days here and there, but always ended
up pitying her (and bored to death of her).
But the worst part of her psychosis imo is how she is
completely immersed in a world of cruel fantasies about
others, whom she imagines she controls and makes cry
and torments - and those fantasies are her worst enemy,
because they mirror what's inside of her she refuses to
see.
I'm by no means her first target, she's been doing this for
years in several newsgroups, and as long as she continues
to be largely ignored and unchallenged, she'll go on like this
in the future. She's a bully who needs a really good spanking
from several directions - like continuously for six or seven
months. An ongoing confrontation from others is probably the
only thing that could purge those sick fantasies from her head.
As long as she's allowed to live in her world of make
believe, she'll continue to avoid facing her problems and
continue to harass and stalk new targets, in a pattern
which has continued for at least six years.
She *begs* to be ignored. Being ignored is what allows her
to continue to be such a nasty, sick character. She hates
people in general, but she especially hates anybody who
threatens her meglomaniacal fantasies.
In Trolly's mind, silence represents consensus, obedience
and conquest (which is why she posts profusely daily, and
why she's constantly screaming about 'feeders' who should
'ignore' her verbal attacks). I think you've noticed how she
seems to think she's speaking to an imaginary audience
(like when she says "Well folks..." etc) - more evidence she
thinks whoever ignores her is somehow validating her
behavior by their silence. (Much like she imagines they
validate her behavior with well-meaning suggestions that
ignoring her is the best approach.)
Every time the people who tangle with her finally get bored
or disgusted with her and turn their backs on her, Trollzilla
sinks deeper into her the make believe Trollzilla-Planet. I
don't blame anyone for walking away from her (out of
boredom, disgust or pity), but imho those who walk away
just prime her poison pump for her next target, by making
her believe she "won" and reinforcing her psychotic self
image as some kind of conquering monster of usenet.
What's best for Trollzilla is to get her fantasy worlds ripped
apart. Her "victims" need to stand up to her and kick her
butt until she gets the message. She's not a troll who goes
away when ignored. She just gets crazier and nastier, as
her usenet history proves, and she moves on to her next
target(s). She really does live in a sick fantasy world which
is harmful her and causes a lot of people to get stalked,
harassed and sometimes hurt.
Maybe auk can help her loosen her grip on insanity.
