   there a rumour that max the pig has died , I know this is not earth   
   shattering news but this the only story I could find on it,  has any one   
   heard or know any more about this ?????

   It was the greatest long-standing relationship of his life - but today we're   
   very sad to report that George Clooney's love affair with his pot-bellied   
   pig Max has come to an end.   
      
   Yes, George's beloved pet Max - who shared his Los Angeles mansion,   
   including his bedroom - has sadly passed away at the ripe old age of 16. Not   
   surprisingly, the Hollywood heartthrob is said to be devastated at his   
   loss - and we wouldn't be surprised if his British girlfriend Lisa Snowdon   
   is feeling much the same way.   
      
   'It's love me and you have to love my pig,' George once said - and it seemed   
   that Lisa was one of the few girlfriends who did just that. In fact, when   
   the couple first got together, George apparently told friends that one of   
   the reasons he was so smitten with Lisa was because she'd bonded so well   
   with Max.   
      
   'I trust Max's judgement when it comes to the women in my life,' he said at   
   the time. 'That's how Lisa's still around. Max has never taken to anyone the   
   way he's taken to Lisa. He loves her as much as I do.'   
      
   And the feeling was entirely mutual, it seems. Lisa once said: 'It's not   
   hard to love Max' - and confessed that George used to put his pig on the   
   phone to her for a 'chat' when he called her up in England. Aww, bless. How   
   will they cope without him?
