   The BAFTA nominations were announced today.   
      
   Best Film - Good Night & Good Luck   
   Best Actor - David Straithairn (Good Night & Good Luck)   
   Best Supporting Actor - George Clooney (Good Night & Good Luck)   
   Best Supporting Actor - George Clooney (Syriana)   
   Best Original Screenplay - George Clooney & Grant Heslov (Good Night & Good   
   Luck)   
   Best Director - George Clooney (Good Night & Good Luck)   
   Best Editing - Good Night & Good Luck   
      
   It's a pity the BAFTAs don't follow the same dual nomination rule as the   
   Oscars, because it means that the votes for George will be split, and he is   
   less likely to win.   
      
   The ceremony will be held on 19 February in London. I would assume that   
   George is going to attend, him having four nominations and all :-)
