   I don't think that's right. Kevin Costner was nominated for Best Actor and   
   Best Director for 'Dances With Wolves', and won Best Director.   
      
   Kevin Costner is the only other person I can find who has nominations in   
   three different categories in the same year. There may be others, but it's a   
   lot of information to trawl through.   
      
   Let's just hope that George's post-Oscar career doesn't go the same way as   
   Costner's! :-)
