From: phurrballs@yahoo.com              Jon Stewart and George Clooney film scene, share bed       Pair shoot "Brokeback Mountain" spoof for Oscars              By Sandy Tomcho       Times Herald-Record       stomcho@th-record.com              Blooming Grove - George Clooney and Jon Stewart may have had a "moment of       zen" in the Town of Blooming Grove yesterday.              Since Wednesday, Blooming Grove residents have gathered by the dozens on the       set of George Clooney's new movie, "Michael Clayton," to get an autograph or       have a picture taken with the actor. While they waited, rumors began       circulating that Stewart, host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" and of       the upcoming Academy Awards, was going to make an appearance. But not in the       movie.              Here's what we know for sure:              A house near the one Clooney has been using was transformed from a crew       hangout to a "closed set" yesterday.              A bedroom in the house was being renovated by the crew.              A member of the crew approached the owner of the house to inform her that       "we have new sheets."              Here's what we've been told by unofficial sources:              The scene being shot will air during the Academy Awards on March 5.              The scene is a spoof on "Brokeback Mountain."              Here are some details from the lady who "shared her bed" with the two       actors:              "Jon Stewart and George Clooney made a skit in my bed and my bedroom ...       (that) will be on the Academy Awards," homeowner Doris Pinter says. She and       her husband, Joe, opened their home to crew members for four days this week.       Now they opened their bedroom door.              Pinter said about a dozen crew members tore apart her room, moved some       furniture and items off her dresser and took the door off the hinges to make       room for cameras. Everything was put back after the shoot.              "And they even remade my bed," she says.              She says Stewart, whose wife is a veterinarian, was very nice and fell in       love with her dog, an 18-month-old "pedigree mutt" named Ginger. Stewart       also mingled with the humans in the household.              "We had a group picture taken with him and he also did some autographs and       George signed an 'Ocean's 11' DVD," Pinter says. "They're very sociable       people."              She says the taping lasted an hour and a half. Then she had one last       request.              "I asked a member of the crew if I could have the sheets that Jon and George       laid on autographed and she said no because they needed them for another       skit," Pinter says.              At least she can say she slept in the same bed as George Clooney and Jon       Stewart.              Sweet dreams, Doris and Joe.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
