   I've been reading the current stuff regarding George's alleged new   
   girlfriend here and other places, and while I don't care one way or the   
   other who he dates, it reminded me why I never trashed Celine and why I   
   liked it when he was dating her - I felt she was a nice, beautiful, kind   
   young woman who, although she made some mistakes, really brought some   
   class and happiness to his life. She seemed to give him some kind of   
   stability, and although he may or may not have been faithful to her,   
   during the period that they dated, he at least appeared to be less of a   
   serial dater.   
      
   With regard to a statement No Kidding made recently, I agree - at his   
   age, it's rather sad that he's apparently unable to make any long term   
   commitments to a woman. Again, not that everyone has to get married -   
   you don't - but it is a little telling that his last long-term   
   relationship was with Celine, so many years ago.
