   Well...... thats a pretty simplistic view of the films. Of the 7 movies between
   1984-95 only 3  (G 84, G vs Mecha and G vs Space Godzilla) were truly a
   military
   vs Godzilla film, and Space Godzilla had that as just one of 2 plot threads. .
   Biollante was an interesting story about playing god with genetics and the
   resulting impact. G vs Ghidorah was a time travel and economic theme, G vs
   Mothra
   was a fantasy about Nature (Batra) The positive force of man...or Cosmos
   (Mothra)
   and the bastard off spring of the 2 (Godzilla) And Destroyer was a meditation
   on
   how our own creations , by purpose or accident can come back to haunt us. You
   over
   simplify all these films, yet pine away for the often insipid and repeditive
   late
   60s and 70s films ( Lets see now, of the last 10 showa Godzilla films, 5 had
   aliens controling monsters to attack the earth! Wow....how original.......
   )
