   which was the basis for "Rashomon".   
      
   1909: MOGENS BRANDT, who played Police Chief Hassing in "Reptilicus",   
   is born in Copenhagen.   
      
   1928: HYOE ENOKI, who was in "The Last Dinosaur", is born in Mie   
   Prefecture, Japan.   
      
   1933: YOKO MINAMIDA, who played Obasan in "House", is born in Tokyo.   
      
   1940: SHIN ROPPONGI, who played Yuichi Wakayama in "Terror of   
   Mechagodzilla", is born in Gunma, Japan.   
      
   1944: FRANK FANNING, who played a police officer in the original "King

   1962: ROSCOE ATES, who played a press photographer in the original   
   "King Kong", dies of lung cancer in Hollywood, Calif.   
      
   1968: HARUKO SAGARA, who played a TV reporter in "Godzilla vs.   
   Biollante", is born in Koriyama, Japan. She also played Kyoko "Okyo"   
   Nakamura in the "Sukeban Deka II" TV series and feature film.   
      
   1974: Episode 22 of "Diamond Eye: Warrior of Light", "Princess Cobra's   
   Desperate Fight", premieres on Japanese TV.   
    JASON H. KARNIOL, who played a college student in the U.S. version of

   1994: Episode 50 of Season 1 of "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers",
