   1921: EARL HAMMOND, voice actor on the U.S. dubs of "The Space Giants" and   
   "Ultraman", is born. He also lent his vocal talents to "Star Blazers",   
   "Thundercats", "The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers", and "Silverhawks", and   
   acted in the TV series "Kraft    
   Theatre" and "Rocky King, Detective", and the film "Satan in High Heels".    
      
   1925: JERRY A. BAERWITZ, who directed the U.S. version of "Varan the   
   Unbelievable", is born in New York City.    
      
   1926: SEIZO KATO is born in Tokyo. He was on "Kamen Rider Black RX", and was   
   the voice of Satan on "Dinosaur Squadron Zyuranger" and General Jark on "Kamen   
   Rider Decade the Movie: All Riders vs. Great Shocker" and "OOO Den-o All   
   Riders: Let's Go Kamen

   1951: JOE PISCOPO, who had a bit part in the 1976 remake of "King Kong", is   
   born in Passaic, N.J. He is best known as a former cast member on "Saturday   
   Night Live".    
      
   1959: KAZUKI YAO, the voice of Ninjaman on "Ninja Squadron Kakuranger" and   
   "Pirate Squadron Gokaiger", Buzuma on "Voiceslugger", Boribaru on "Future

   1961: KOICHI YAMADERA, who played the kids' TV host in "Godzilla

   Last Stand", and was the narrator in "   
   Godzilla: Final Wars", is born in Miyagi, Japan. He is a voice actor on such

   1977: MAKOTO SAKAMOTO, who played Higashiyama in "Yo-Yo Girl Cop", is born in   
   Abaraki, Japan. He was also in "Battle Royale II".   
      
   1978: KUMIKO ASO, who played Etsuko Tachihara in "Ringu 0", Michi Kudo in   
   "Pulse", a newscaster in "Zebraman", and Luna Kozuki in "Casshern", is born in   
   Sanbu-gun, Chiba, Japan. She was also in "Red Shadow".    
    ROBERT WILLIAMS, who played the first state trooper in "The Giant Claw", dies   
   in Orange County, Calif.    
      
   1983: KAZUNARI NINOMIYA, who played Kei Kurono in "Gantz" and "Gantz: Perfect   
   Answer", is born in Tokyo. He also starred in "Letters from Iwo Jima".   
      
   1984: NOBUO NAKAGAWA, who directed and co-wrote "Jigoku", dies.    
      
   1987: NOZOMI TSUJI, the voice of Ene-tan on "Special Ops Squadron Go-Busters"   
   and "Special Ops Squadron Go-Busters the Movie: Protect the Tokyo Enetower!",   
   is born in Tokyo.   
      
   1988: DARAN NORRIS, who was the U.S. dubbing voice of the astronomy teacher in

   Animation", marries Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.
