   	HARRY CORNBLETH, who played a sailor in the original "King Kong" and "The Son   
   of Kong", is born in Omaha, Neb. He died at 83 in January, 1979, in Las Vegas.    
      
   1910: SANEZUMI FUJIMOTO is born in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. He co-produced   
   "The Three Treasures", "The Human Vapor", "The Last War", and "Godzilla vs.   
   the Thing", as well as "The Hidden Fortress" and "The Sword of Doom".    
      
   1927: WAYNE HEFFLEY, who played an Air Force general in the 1976 remake of   
   "King Kong", is born in Bakersfield, Calif.    
      
   1932: KOSEI SAITO, director on "G.I. Samurai", is born in Yamaguchi, Japan.   
      
   1957: KAIZO HAYASHI, who wrote and directed "Cat’s Eye", wrote "Tokyo: The
