From: jordzilla@epix.net               << Yeah ADV has come a long way..... I just wish they'd go       > back and give Destroy All Monsters some lovin'! The damn DVD is ONE SINGLE       > TRACK! So watch it ALL THE WAY THROUGH or you'll have to keep the fast       > forward button handy each time you watch it. >>       >       > Jordan... dude... Sounds like you're watching a porn tape or something       with the       > FFW button in hand... not that I would know about such things, being a       Godzilla       > fan and all (do you think it turns a woman off to see a G shrine in a       guy's       > living room and a Bandai figure on his TV in the bedroom?       Naaaaawwwwwwww... not       > a bit!)              Hahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha! I have a legion of kaiju on my       entertainment center (Two GINO figures, one battle armor Godzilla figure,       and 5 inch figures of: Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, M.O.G.U.E.R.A., Gigan,       Spacegodzilla, Battra, and Biollante. Also have a 12 inch Godzilla figure.       Lotta trendmasters toys. Also have an Aurora Godzilla model (which I       foolishly put together years ago, the base looks like crap! Nothing like       what's on the box! LOL!). Alos have a mini goji figure that some guy       personally made and a tiny GINO figure). So I know of what you speak!                     > I posted a review of "GxM" on the pre-order page for amazon.com giving it       2 out of five stars, and then only for the WS transfer and subtitle       option... talk about a G film which benefits from FFW buttons...              Hahahahahahahahaha.              > But the gist of the review is also "here's hoping these two (GxM, GMK)       sell really well, possibly getting the rest of the series some DVD respect       in the process"... or even a few of the harder to find movies out on DVD       like "Raids Again" or "Hedorah" (I'd even settle for a widescreen "Smog       Monster" print if they don't want to give up the rights to the Japanese       audio).              I feel your pain, but I'm not getting my hopes up. AGH!!!!!!!!! PAIN!       ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!       No not feeling pain because of the lack of good G-Releases on DVD..... I'm       watching "No Retreat, No Surrender." If you've seen this film and lived, you       are definitely stronger for it.              > C'mon... I saw that Bruce Lee's films have all at least been issued in WS       (still with the horrid dubs)... give is GODZILLA!!! I'm getting tired of the       picture quality on my VHS boots!              HEY! Don't diss Bruce! He's the second best thing to come out of the East       (Godzilla being the first best thing of course!).       Of course, more and more I'm realizing that Japanese cinema outdoes most of       America's films by far. We still have some big guns though, like Peter       Jackson (who we're currently borrowing from New Zealand).       Later man,       Jordan                     --       The B-Movie Film Vault       http://www.geocities.com/jrgdawg/       Fighting the Good Fight For B-Movie Lovers Everywhere Since June 5th, 2000!              Also a Proud Member (and Founder) of The Rogue Reviewers:       http://www.roguereviewers.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
