Hahahahaha! Indeed! Godzilla looked and sounded like your generic cartoon
dinosaur, and it's made worse by the fact that he gets a goofy, useless and
supposedly cute sidekick. Horrible idea by Hannah Barbara. They had a huge
marathon back in the day (about 5.... 6 years ago maybe?) on TNT (when TNT
was a GOOD channel). The had 5 hours of Godzilla cartoons and then played
old Godzilla movies all day. Great fun!

   >but I would love to see those old series (and even the G98 inspired
   cartoon - I know, I'm an id

Hahahahaha. Well you're a completionist (like most obsessed G-Fans). I'd
love to own all the cartoons (and the G-98 inspired toons were actually
pretty cool. Gino finds true love in one episode with a giant mutant monitor
lizard with halitosis, but she's killed by a giant mutant Tortoise with
halitosis (GAMERA?! Haha!). Not a bad series considering the source
   material.)
