   I did indeed though the POA film nearly ended the screen odysey early. GOF   
   was marginally better and OOTP was a pretty well done adaption. HBP was   
   fair but as it was my favourite of the books it would have been a hard one   
   for me to find satisfactory.

   As I said I feel that she has more than had the ending in her head, I   
   suspect she had much of it on paper well before sge got to publishing the   
   book.

   British humour can tend toward the silly and purile at times, the benefit   
   being that they don't take themselves too seriously.
