   These partnerships with secret USG, these things have tentacles. I have   
   never known anyone who made the handshake and ended up walking away   
   whole. Kubrick among them. JKR? She's not a threat and the black magick   
   side of Potter, well, that exposure and the ensuing social acceptance is   
   in their favor. I think.   
      
   Or Warner Brothers saw the opportunity to make a bucket load of money   
   and felt that the whimsical nature of Potter wouldn't be so damaging.
