      Deathly Hallows Spoilers:              1       2       3       4       5       6       7       8       9       10       11       12       13       14       15       16       17       18       19       20              After the Death Eater coup, the Ministry of Magic announces that recent       research has determined that only the children of wizards and witches have       magical ability, and that the Muggle-borns got their magic by stealing       someone's wand. The MoM therefore        sets up a Muggle-Born Registration Commission to investigate Muggle-borns.              The wand stealing theory actually has some basis in fact. Sometimes, wands       change their loyalty to someone who has defeated their owner. The famous       Elder Wand has changed hands many times in that manner. In the DH movie,       Draco's wand changes its        loyalty to Harry Potter when Harry disarms Draco.
