   This doesn't necessarily contradict the idea that Truth Serum takes a lot of   
   time, money, or other resources to produce. Snape doesn't exactly seem to   
   have a vibrant personal life ;-) Especially before Voldemort came back, it's   
   hard to imagine he had many hobbies other than planning and carrying out   
   mean things he could do to Harry.
