   No, the economy was already broke by Obama....of course, he hasn't done much   
   about it.   
      
   Nor can we really say Bush broke it either since shortly after he took   
   office he was warning Congress that the policies in place were dangerous and   
   could lead to a collapse of the housing market.   
      
   Much of it probably goes on Clinton, but certainly not all of it since even   
   then some of the ground work was started before he took office.

   I would say if any one is engaged in blindly defending someone....it's the   
   person in your mirror doing that defending.

   Not since he tried to head it off. If anyone were to blame it would be the   
   assholes in Congress who refused to take action....on both sides of the   
   aisle. Heck, the Democrat in charge of the oversight committee gave Freddy   
   and Fannie a clean bill of health just months before the implosion. However,   
   seems to me you're more interested in your partisanship that the facts or   
   seeing where the blame truly lies.   
      
   Which now that I think of it, could really be that attitude that should be   
   blamed.   
      
   Maybe you're one of the assholes we should blame for the collapse?
