   This week, thanks to tape trading, I have finally seen all of the available
   KTMA episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000. That's right, from K04
   ("Gamera Vs. Barugon") to K21("Legend of the Dinosaur"). Here are some of
   the good things that came from seeing these episodes:

   - I now believe in Gamera;
   - Seeing "Space 1999" made me grateful that the future did not end up
   looking like this 1970's version of the future; and
   - "Humanoid Woman" taught me to appreciate bald, emotionally distant women,
   making it easier for me to watch "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" again.

   On the bad side:

   - I now watch films with the expectation of seeing the KTMA time and
   temperature in the lower left corner;
   - I cannot keep a straight face in the presence of "Paul is Dead" style
   conspiracy theories; and
   - I'll always regret that I started watching *far* too late to have a chance
   to win a demon dog hat.

   Gods of Heaven, gods of Earth,
   Let everything be as it should be;
   Thus shall it be!"
   - Magical chant from "Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi"

   "Drizzle, Drazzle, Drozzle, Drome,
   Time for this one to come home!"
   - Mr. Lizard from "Tooter Turtle"
