   They make AWD cars, if you really live out in the sticks. High center   
   of gravity always loses, maneuverability wise.   
      
   Now if you have lots of stuff to HAUL, a truck-based vehicle may be the   
   right choice, but you still won't be able to drive as fast as safely as   
   you can in a good car. There's a reason the original Audi Quattro   
   revolutionized the rally world back in the early '80s you know. And I'd   
   still rather drive a RWD car with good winter tires than any AWD or 4WD   
   vehicle with typical, half-worn all-season tires.
