   Yeah, he was referring to commuting.  But you're right.  Your choice   
   to use public transportation is a good one.

   Above you added that you weren't just referring to commuting.  So no   
   sense limiting "work" to something you get paid for.  Maybe you do   
   volunteer stuff on the side.  Maybe you just read a book.  Can't do
