   Tim, Bahrain is an ally of the United States.  That makes the situation   
   different from Libya which has a history of conducting terrorism against the   
   United States and its citizens. Even though administrations change from   
   Republican to Democratic and back again and forth again, foreign policy is   
   still based on a quote by Franklin Delano Roosevelt concerning the American   
   relationship to Nicaraguan dictator Anastasio Somoza, "I don't care if he's   
   a sonofabitch.  At least he's our sonofabitch."
