Have you considered the possibility that the medical staff is willing
to live with less? I hear Canadian doctors make a 1/3 less than the
more affluent American doctors, and that's part of the reason their
UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE SYSTEM is so much cheaper than the American
   system.

I mean, if they can't afford a Mercedes, they can buy a GM. And if the
buy the Volt they are doing twice the good.

But that's only my humble opinion.

   ++++++++++++++++++++++++
There is no way in Hell that the doctor's office, including the doctor and
the support staff are doing anything for $25. It just isn't happening.

And, driving a Volt instead of a Mercedes is not "twice as good." Indeed, it
appears that the carbon footprint of the Volt is significantly larger than
almost any other vehicle of its size on the market.

So, just because you paid $25 for a doctor's visit does not mean that a
doctor's visit only costs $25. The visit might cost you $25, but your
neighbors all paid for your visit too, so the cost only looks small to you.

The difference in a Democrat and a Republican is that a Republican is a
former Democrat that figured out how the ends meet.

Canadian doctors make less because they cannot bill the government for your
girl friend's sniffles as much as American doctors can, but that does not
change the fact that an office visit costs more than $25, and government
makes up the shortfall. It's just that the Canadian cap the bills at a lower
level. I'm sure you have no clue that Canadians actually come to the US for
better care if they have the wherewithall to pay the bills.

You are the guy that says we could save billions if we just had more bikes
and women stopped shaving their legs, right?
