XPost: alt.politics, talk.politics.misc, alt.society.labor-unions       From: tim.howard@suddenlink.net              We heard and read a lot of analysis about November's election--what it       means for America and what Americans are thinking, etc. There were many       stories and angles covered. But the biggest story not reported, and one       of the biggest period, is the growing movement against corporate       personhood and for a constitutional amendment ending this legal fiction.        Over 150 cities and counties around the nation called for a       constitutional amendment to say corporations are not people. The people       of Montana also voted yes on a state initiative. The Vermont       legislature overwhelmingly passed such a resolution last year. The       media is almost all corporate owned, which is why none of them, even the       so-called liberal pundits reported the victories. But if enough cities,       counties, and yes states, vote for an end to corporate personhood, they       will have to acknowledge the movement. Move to Amend is leading this       fight. Check out their story on the success of anti-corporate       personhood amendments, and of course, join the fight!              Move to Amend's website...       https://movetoamend.org/election-results-move-amend-initiative-r       solutions-win-big              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
