   In Germany they got 200,000 km of MARKED TRAILS. I found that out   
   while sitting on my ass in the boondocks. It's important that they are   
   marked or else:   
      
   1- You may get lost,   
      
   2- You may get injured,   
      
   3- You may get shot at for trespassing,   
      
   We walked one day like 4 hours along the road carefully looking for   
   trails and then we gave up. People are fat and have no other pastime   
   than driving somewhere. This is 100 miles from NYC, near the famous   
   "Woodstock."
