Around here it's the tourists who often ride on the streets just
because they don't have a clue how dangerous that is. They are
"liberating" this town for us so to speak. Pity them if you will.

Traffic here is out of control. They speed well beyond the 30mph
posted speed. They blast at cyclists and pedestrians if they feel like
it. One section in the "beautiful" part of town posted a 20mph speed
limit AND speed bumps. The lions of the jungle want their part of town
nice and calmed. They can because it's a lawyers and doctors who live
there. We are in the monkey section and anything goes. There are three
hotels where people must dash across the street on a blind curve to
get the convenience store and they do nothing to provide a light or
   something.

So save your prayers for all those people.
