Why?       >       > Eh.. It doesn't pivot much. I think it's just a third spotlight.               I find it a bit hard to believe that a small pitching light that doesn't       have any function whatsoever, and itsn't hightlited in the show,, would be       put onto the toy. Seems a waste to add something and not draw attention to       it. Why add the pivoting feature if it doesn't do anything?        But, again, I may be reading more into it than is needed, aka being       paranoid... If I could guess what alternate function it might have, I'd say       either a connection tab that something slips against/under/over, or a       trigger for a spring-loaded feature.              > > 4- and this one is a just a hunch, but that accessory piece included       > > with Gougou Jet       > > seems to have more function than we've seen so far; it's only used to       > > connect #06-09 on       > > Jet's flight mode. I remember how those were featured in       Titanus' iinstructions, but how I was dissappointed that they didn't appear       in the show. I also noticed there, for the first time, how radically       altered the Power Zords had been from their Japanese counterparts because       the images use the original Sentai toys.              > * Tiger, acording to the kana. A bit boggling.       > * King Brachion carrying GouRyuujin -- never used               Huh? Don't know those two.              > * GoGo V didn't use any of the combinations for the Project Sigma       > Machines, other than the fully combined form. Not even individual       > modes.               Could they separate in the show? I thought they couldn't, or never       did...? I thought that they/it only matched the appearance of the Max       Victory Robo, but that was it.              > * GaoRanger didn't use the Tank Modes of Gao Bison or Gao Buffalo       > I'm not even going to address the power-up combinations, because there       > were thousands possible. One wouldn't expect them to hit them all.               Well, that's a given, considering there's a hundred PAs, and we only saw       28 of them! (Well... except in the finale.)              > * for Hurricanger, the Revolver Mamoth's packaging and instructions       > show riding modes featuring the indivitual roboes, Senpuujin,       > Gouraijin, and Tenkuujin.               I got my Revolver Mammoth secondhand, so it didn't come with the       instructions. But I asumed that those three could fit in there.              > Abarenger similarly had a multituded of possible arm variations.               Right, right... Same as the Power Animals line.              > We have quite a list of unused possibility for MagiRanger.       > * Shoot Magiking -- never used       > * "Shoot Kaizer" -- never used       > * "Fire Travelion" -- never used       > * "Wol Travelion" -- never used       > * Legend Magi King -- never used (very sadly.. I think the lion head       > looks excelent on Magi King)               (That would have been the ONLY reason I would have gotten DX       MagiLegend... :D )              > * the robo form of Wolzard + Unigolon -- never used, and that had it's       > very own brand new head, and purple paint aps on Unigolon to blend with       > the Wolzard chest. In the absense of ever being given a name for it,       > despite it being shown on box and in instructions, I've taken to       > calling it "SerafiKaizer", but that's just a personal affectation.       > * Fire Centaurus -- never used       > * Saint Centaurus -- never used       > * "Serafi Centaurus" -- never used       > So yes, that's some seriously unseen potential recently in MagiRanger               Huh-! I didn't know they had names for all of those...!              > There will obviously be unseen arm combos for Boukenger, especialy       > since four of the vehicles can go left or right, yet we never see them       > do that in the show.               Odd we haven't seen DaiBouken Mixer & Crane, and Siren Builder Mixer &       Crane yet. I was expecting those, but we always have Drill in a two-arm       swap because it is the most powerful of the five Gougou Gattai Vehicles.               In the cases of "GaoRanger", "AbaRanger", and- yes- "Boukenger", there       are bound to be arm-swapping modes we will not see in the show, but can be       accomplished with the toys with those that are released. I'm tempted to       throw "MagiRanger" in with the above three since we only saw MagiPhoenix       chest-swap in one way (FireKaiser); there was nothing else in the show even       though they toys could do it. In those cases, I think we can exclude them       from this discussion as not completely relevant since they are given       exceptions, and there's too many to list.        My original question regarding 'lost' modes reffered to series where       there was no limb-swapping; I didn't make that clear in either my posting to       my friend or here. So that means your "ZyuRanger", "GoGo V", and              [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
