   Salutations all,   
   I'm hoping the internet archive community (specifically this branch of it)   
   might be able to help me find a fic from the '90s. Back around '96 Mara   
   MacLeod wrote a awesome PR fic called "Out of Time" in which, as memory serves   
   (don't quote it, because it'   
   s been over 15 years) two Rangers from a dark future traveled back in time to   
   prevent the end of the world.   
      
   I used to have this story amongst others stored on tape backup, but three   
   moves, generations of technological upgrades, and lost boxes have lead me to   
   no longer have said backup. To make things worse, I have only managed to   
   recover three parts of the    
   story from this feed: Parts 4, 11A, and 11C, leaving me with a rather   
   expansive gap in the story chronology.   
      
   I am hoping beyond hope that one of the Old Guard might have a copy of it   
   stored somewhere, or barring that, might have a viable means of contact with   
   Mara MacLeod.   
      
   If this fails, then I will know that there is no hope of recovering the rest   
   of the story and that it's been lost in the annals of internet history.
