|    A concept story not yet tried with Power    |

From: deansb@iw.net              Why don't they have a Power Rangers series where the soon-to-be Ranger       characters are on the Internet, in a chat room together, when a freak       accident occurs and their bodies disappear, are digitized, and thrust into       cyberspace, where they're stuck for the next 2,000 years.              Then one day, in the ruins of a major city ravaged by war, someone (who will       be the Rangers' mentor) successfully activates a computer, and the Internet       (which is still there, despite a global war having wiped out much of       civilization hundreds of years before), and releases our Ranger characters.              The soon-to-be Rangers are in for a MAJOR SHOCK, when they're told that the       world they knew is gone, and there's very little left of civilization.              But while the Ranger characters were in cyberspace, they were slowly endowed       with new powers, and somehow the mentor helps create morphers for them in       order to morph into the Power Rangers of the distant future.              The Zords they use are built by "builder" machines, and they're able to call       these zords, and merge them together to form megazords. As the series       progresses, have new zords created, and make them all compatible with each       other (like in DinoThunder).              The premise in this series would be for them to act as a "peacemaker" force       to help bring the world back together, and not only preserve, but revive       civilization.              But have a main villian who is bent on keeping the factions of the       population at war with each other. Have in the first episodes where the       different factions are brought together to form a peaceful coalition, and to       start rebuilding civilization. But have the main villian attempting each       episode to make a monster that tries to spark war between the factions, and       have it be up to the Rangers to defeat each monster and preserve the peace       in the new civilization.              What do you all think of this premise?              DeanSB       deansb2000@yahoo.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
