   According to one of the articles at ToonZone, Disney wont do the gender   
   flip-flops that Saban did. So, as long as the original Sentai has two   
   girls, the PR version will have two girls.

   Giving some of the futuristic vehicles seen passing by SPD HQ, not to   
   mention the commercial on ABC Family saying 2020, it's definitely the   
   future.   
      
   As for a team-up, there's no guarantee there will be one. Emma (Kira) is   
   here in the states, working on her album. And JDF has probably returned   
   home.
