       If you're not being sarcastic about it:   
      
   1-    Sam got a bicycle.  DekaBreak commands the DekaBike Robo, and has a   
   motorized unicycle.   
   2-    He joins SPD to help others.  (the weakest of my arguments)   
   3-    He is the last (so far as we know) of the children descended from   
   pre-SPD scientists; each of whom have a unique super-human capability, and   
   all of whom are now on the same SPD squad.   
   4-    If they follow history, we may have another under 16 years-old Ranger.   
   Hard to forget Justin from "PR Turbo", who was around the same age as Sam is   
   now.   
   5-    Why dedicate two full episodes to a kid off the streets, just to not   
   use him later after he's been established [so well] with the target   
   audience?  If he is to become a surprise Ranger later in the series, they   
   need to show him early in the series, so it's like "Hey, I know him!"  They   
   did the same with Trent in "PR Dino Thunder", and we had no clue he'd become   
   the White Ranger even though he seemed to be just a regular guest character.   
   6-    Gut feeling, hairs raised on the back of my neck, woman's intuition?   
   (I'm male, thank you!), etc-etc-etc...   
      
       And, if I'm wrong on this, it was/could have been used as a great   
   plotline.
