Who is Mora/Morgana? What actually       happened to Doggie's wife? Why has the unstoppable Troobian       war machine come to a dead halt at Earth? Has A-Squad been       turned evil, destroyed, or imprisoned? Why has Wild Force       actually had more rangers-in-space action (Forever Red) than       "Space Patrol" Delta so far?              Also, despite having a GrummMobile and being unable to       defeat Cruger, he's scored some pretty good victory points       so far: got the transwarp doohickey from Piggy early on,       grabbed a dump truck full of diamonds from under B-Squad's       nose, snagged lots of iridium while SPD was in Kyoto . . .       heck, the only thing he didn't get was "the EEEVIL" stone       from the bookstore. His track record, PR-wise, isn't bad for       a villain.              What we need now are less throwaway episodes and some more       answers to the questions SPD posed. And get on with the new       rangers, new megazord, blast buggy (if we're going to get it       over here), and Dino Thunder team-up, overall of which I       thought was an excellent season, with plenty of references       to the whole universe of PR through the ages.              SPD isn't bad to me, it's just . . . bland right now. It       needs to work on its strengths. It could come back for a       great second half. Otherwise, it will be one of those       seasons that we lock in the basement, and ignore its feeble       attempts to bang on the door and come out, just like with       grandma. :)              All IMO, of course.              Parser              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
