   The Garuda is a mythical creature itself, one of the three principle   
   animal gods in Hindu mythology.  King of birds.  Sometimes represented   
   with a bird's body with a human head, but more often as we see it in   
   Magiranger, a human body with bird head and wings.   
      
   There's no simple creature name they could condense it to, unless they   
   go with Eagle Zord or something equally lame.  It would probably by   
   easier for them to just continue to use the name Garuda.  Whether they   
   will or not, though, is up in the air.
