    In Japan, it's called either just Sentai ('taskforce'), or Super Sentai.   
   It is from the overall Tokusatsu (aka live-action) genre.

    Usually, if one or more of the English cast is seen onscreen with a   
   Ranger, or if a Ranger is seen on a "PR"-related set, it's usually original   
   "PR" footage. Sometimes, (like in "Shadow, Pt.2") a "PR" character is   
   digitally superimposed over original Sentai footage.

    From what I understand of past "PR" shows, unless you see a character   
   with their face showing through a visor, or their heads without the helmets,   
   it's almost always a stunt double.
