   There is no PR movie in the works; you're slightly misreading what they   
   wrote.  When that writer mentioned PR revival, it's because she didn't   
   do enough research and had no idea that PR was still on the air.  I   
   can't really fault her for not researching the PR side of things... she   
   was just mentioning a rumor that most people who take the time to think   
   about it would realize is false.  But still, I'm somewhat annoyed   
   because it's an reputable magazine, so the writers should know what   
   they're talking about.   
      
   That said, Emma Watson being the Pink Ranger in next year's series   
   (currently titled "PR Relic Hunters") was as star said... spread via   
   IMDB, which is untrustworthy about any production in-progress.  The same   
   IMDB page lists young Boba Fett as the Red Ranger and Antonia Prebble,   
   who's already playing a significant role this season, as a rumored Pink   
   Ranger as well.  If that's not enough reason to believe the rumor's   
   false, consider the following info, mostly from anakinjmt at the Ranger   
   Power forums and partly from me.   
      
   1) Emma, as far as we know, is a union actress.  Being part of the SAG,   
   you cannot appear in non-union projects with special consent. This   
   includes working with non-union actors. PR now uses non-union actors, so   
   the odds of getting union actors is extremely low, like next to impossible.   
      
   2) Emma is currently filming OotP and will be filming it till at least   
   July, and it's believed they may have to go into August or even   
   September, due to the vast amount of material. WB has to stop filming   
   for about two weeks, we think, due to Emma and Dan (Harry) taking exams.   
   Once their exams are done, they will resume shooting.  This isn't an   
   issue for PR's filming since that comes later, but it IS an issue for   
   casting calls.   
      
   3) Emma would be a little young. She just turned 16 on May 15, and the   
   PR actors are all at least 18 years old. The only person younger than 18   
   that's been a Ranger is Blake as Justin, and you all know what happened   
   there. Presumably, the production team has learned from that mistake.   
      
   4) Emma is British, whereas all of the other PR actors have been from   
   North America or Australia or NZ. While it would be interesting to see a   
   British Ranger, it's highly doubtful that would happen any time soon.   
      
   5) As mentioned earlier, PR casting calls will be in process while she's   
   filming OotP, totally messing with the possible timing of her   
   auditioning.  In fact, since they just finished filming Mystic Force,   
   casting calls start this month.  The final chosen cast for each season   
   of PR doesn't start arriving in New Zealand for filming until late   
   September/early October.  Therefore, it's idiotic to believe any rumors   
   of potential cast members until June at the earliest, and it's probably   
   better to wait until September to believe anything you hear. (with the   
   exception of Mystic Force, we knew the cast of most of the previous   
   seasons by September, but no earlier)   
      
   I think that pretty much nips this rumor in the bud.
